Scholarships for Christian College Students
While it is a good idea to search for any and all scholarships when you decide to attend a Christian college, it is important to know there are a number of scholarships set up specifically for students with Christian educational goals and backgrounds. Some have been set up for students involved with a specific church denomination and others are only for those who plan to enter the ministry, but some are more general. The amounts of these scholarships vary from a couple hundred dollars a semester to having your tuition completely paid. Here we have gathered a few that may be useful to you once you have enrolled in a Christian college.
- National Ministries輸merican Baptist Churches offers undergraduate- and graduate-level scholarships for student tuition for American Baptist church members. National Ministries also offers a doctoral grant for PhD students who have already finished a year of the doctoral studies and plan to teach American Baptist ministerial leaders.
- United Church of Christ Scholarships for Seminarians gives out scholarships for students that are UCC members, enrolled in seminary accredited by the Association of Theological Schools, demonstrate leadership skills and plan on entering ordained ministry at a UCC church after graduation.

- The International Order of the Kings Daughters and Sons is an interdenominational organization of Christians dedicated to religious, educational and philanthropic work. The IOKDS lets students apply for different scholarships depending on their nationality and field of study. Students studying health careers (medicine, dentistry, nursing, pharmacy, physical or occupational therapy, and medical technologies) or studying to go into ministry at the graduate level can apply. They also fund a scholarship for North American Indians.
- The Mary E. Bivins Foundation Ministry Scholarship Program was created to give a scholarship to help educate Christian ministers. Applicants must be residents of the Texas panhandle and preference is given to those who can show they intend to serve as pastors upon graduation. The scholarship can be applied at the undergraduate and graduate levels and can be applied to tuition, books, fees and other school expenses.
